give a little to encourage a lot

In 2007, we handed out 300 blankets to underprivileged children in 8 crèches around Cape Town. In one crèche we found five children huddling under one blanket and with your help, each child was given a blanket.

Over the past month, I once again had the incredible privilege of distributing toys to needy and underprivileged children at crèches and pre-school centres in informal settlements in Kayelitsha and Masipumelele, in the Western Cape. see pics.

Since I'd lost my password and so had not been for ages (all sorted out now), took a few days to get round to checking. Since then I've hunted and hunted and had just decided I'm really bad at networking since I could not even find a comment sent to me. The upside, it got me back to the website. Always a bright side to everything.

On another note regarding scams I really did my homework on one where someone was advertising jobs in various hotels around the world. They used different names and different hotels and even contact numbers. But I found the REAL hotels and asked them about this person 'representing' them and I was told it is definately a scam to get people's ID info to be used in worldwide fraud!!
I will certainly let you know if such a person joins here. I can see right through these scam artists now.

Good for you, I see you banned 'lucy'!!

I just warned Daphne about 'her' as i saw she had replied back to her. I think they must just get a kick out of seeing who responds to them, and those who even go as far as to email 'lucy' will get a nasty surprise reply in the form of some kind of pornographic photos, I'm sure.

Sadly it's the sort of world we live in these days.
